PMG passes audit for Bronze FORS Accreditation against new standard version 4.1
FORS Bronze, Silver and Gold membership provides progressive accreditation enabling operators to achieve exemplary levels of best practice. FORS members stand out from the crowd, work to standards above the legal minimum and have access to a wide range of exclusive benefits that provide a real competitive advantage.
Stuart Knight, Operations Manager at PMG, said, “we decided to join the FORS scheme to show customers our continued commitment to high operational standards and procedures. FORS is a great scheme that helps focus the company further on best practices and industry principles and it is our intention to progress further to silver accreditation soon”.
The FORS accreditation helps PMG to strengthen its position as the No 1 provider of operated road sweepers and tankers in the Southwest of England.

PMG Services & DIY SOS!
Here at PMG Services we jumped at the chance to help out the BBC's "DIY SOS" team and the Pollard family. This week we were over the moon to have played our part in the bringing home of the fabulous Ryan, to his wonderful family in Bristol.
Thanks and appreciation go out to every single person involved, including our drivers, who gave up their time to attend site and to Belle who gave us the call to arms!!
The unveiling was an amazing experience with not one dry eye in the house to be seen. #bbc #diysos #pmgservices #proudmoments #onourgame

High Hopes for Sponsored Rugby Team in 2017
Good luck to St Brendan’s Old Boys first rugby team for their match against Dursley on 21 January.
We’ve been proud sponsors of the team for many years and our logo features on their smart new 2016/2017 strip.
The boys are on a roll, winning their last two matches against Ashley Down and Bream in the Gloucester 1 league of the South West Division. The team here at PMG are keeping fingers crossed that it will be three in a row when they face Dursley who are currently sitting in the no 3 position at the top of the league table.
PMG Helping to Keep Winter Roads Safe
With colder weather upon us and snow forecast do you ever wonder what happens to the sand and grit spread on the roads to help keep them safer under icy conditions?
Here at PMG our fleet of road sweepers work across Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, Swindon and Bristol to keep the highways clean. The good news is that all of the residue left from the gritter lorries is swept up and re-cycled at our own state of the art waste treatment plant in Bristol.
In fact nothing that is swept up by PMG road sweepers or gully tankers is sent to landfill. We recycle everything from empty drink cans and litter to scrap metal and organic matter like leaves and twigs.
We estimate that this winter we will recycle over 300 tonnes of grit and sand. After it is washed and cleaned to rigorous environmental standards it will be bagged and sold to construction companies for re-use in applications such as road building and pipe-laying.
